Custom Quilt Princess Style

I was asked by a customer/friend to make a quilt for a little princess in honor of her 1st birthday. This quilt is definitely girly and lives up to its princess potential. I added some embroidery on the 4 corners of the quilt. The princess' name and 1st birthday were also added before the quilt was quilted.

If you have a need for a custom quilt for a special occasion, don't hesitate to contact me.

Ladies Night Out

Last night I participated at a Ladies Night Out event sponsored by Bank of Blue Valley. There was a great turn out. It was wonderful to visit with everyone that showed up.

Birthday Presents

Personalized birthday presents are the greatest thing to give (in my mind anyway). A little girl we know was having a birthday party. I whipped a quick bag, that was filled with makeup, because that's what all little girls want. The E is an applique so the fabric can be changed to accommodate anyone's needs.

There was a very cool shirt to accompany the bag. I think the shirt says it all, since this little girl if definitely a princess.

Boy Scout Attire

I was recently asked to embroider troop and town information on Boy Scout neckties. Not being a boy or having boys, I didn't really give any thought to the idea that Boy Scouts really might need embroidery. Well I'm here to tell you they do. Be sure to contact me if you have a need.

This is the tie provided by my customer.

Tie after I worked my magic.

New Beginning

Today is the first post to this blog. My intention is to show items I create or customize for others. I not sure that I will be able to post daily, but I will certainly post once a week.

So let's get started.

Personalization is a great thing. I love creating gifts for people that have their loved ones name on it. I got a call and was asked if I could personalize a suitcase/duffle bag that is going to college with a freshman. My answer, certainly I can. After meeting with my customer we decided on the font style and color of thread. So off to the machine I went. Here is a picture of the finished project with the newly embroidered name. Hopefully no one will walk off with Breanna's new bag when she leaves for Missouri State.
