I thought this would be a fun shirt for a little girl I know that's heading off to Kindergarten this year.

Wedding Shower Idea

One of my good friends is getting married and today is her bridal shower. I wanted something fun, not the usual bridal stuff. What's more fun than a picnic basket. I found all the makings for my gift at Target and then added the message on the basket.

Back for Business

Okay, so I REALLY neglected this blog. I'm going to try to be much better at posting. I'm hoping to give ideas and inspiration for machine embroidery.

So I'm always scouting out things that I can add embroidery too. I went to Target the other in day in search of something for the family and ran across picnic blankets. My 7 year old was with me and insisted that we couldn't live without a picnic blanket. If you are thinking of a gift for some, add a witty saying to a picnic blanket.

Ladies Night Out Events

I have found a fun way to sell my embroidery items with a larger audience. Many of the banks in Kansas City sponsor Ladies Night Out events.

This little bear is my absolute favorite. She went home with some minutes after taking her out of the box I carried her in in.

What a great way to get your name out there. I was also able to hand out my business card and give ideas of personalized graduation gifts.

Custom Quilt Princess Style

I was asked by a customer/friend to make a quilt for a little princess in honor of her 1st birthday. This quilt is definitely girly and lives up to its princess potential. I added some embroidery on the 4 corners of the quilt. The princess' name and 1st birthday were also added before the quilt was quilted.

Ladies Night Out

Last night I participated at a Ladies Night Out event sponsored by Bank of Blue Valley. There was a great turn out. It was wonderful to visit with everyone that showed up.
